CNC Machining Product Examples

The diversity of precision CNC machining in China expands day by day. There is hardly a metal or plastic end product, where precision is required, that does not use some component that has been CNC machined, in some form or another. It might be an entire product or part that is CNC machined from beginning to end or just a final CNC drilling or milling of a part that has already been cast or forged or molded.

Chinese precision CNC machine encompasses milling parts from block stock; machining parts that have been sand cast, die cast, precision cast, stamped, molded, extruded, forged or any other intermediate manufacturing step.

Examples of Chinese CNC machining are too numerous to possibly in full here but the following show the diversity of products and goods made by precision CNC machining in China.

• Auto parts. CNC lathe machined from precision cast steel to a tolerance of 0.005 mm.
• Aeronautical engine parts. CNC machined from stainless steel to a tolerance of 0.001 mm
• Pump components. Machined from PVC block to a tolerance of 0.005 mm
• Pump gear housing. Machine from cast iron to a tolerance of 0.01 mm
• Spacers. Machined from sand cast aluminum to a tolerance of 0.01 mm

These parts are manufactured in China and exported to the US, UK and Australia. They show the precision and consistency of Chinese CNC workmanship that matches western requirements but at a significantly lower import cost.
