Starting-up importing

China is an enormous country and now the 2nd largest exporter in the world. They produce most things you see in your home, in the office and in industry.

Because of the size and variety of products it is impossible for us to recommend any particular product or market.

If you want to start importing from China you should study your own market first and see what you think will sell well. Then complete as detailed a product specification as possible and set out a target price. We can only help you at this stage.

Most multinational companies now have international pricing strategies.  So a Sony television, for example, is going to cost the same in China as it will in the UK or US. 

There is no advantage looking for most well known branded goods in China.
