Prototyping services for Die Casting Products

We offer a prototyping service for die cast products. Because tooling is not expensive in China we are able to get to the first stage of die casting at a very low front end cost compared to western prices. Even die casting molds (moulds) can be built relatively inexpensively for prototypes.

And because we are die casting regularly we can add small volume prototype die casts onto the back end of a larger die cast product run – unless there is a requirement for an unusual material specification. In such a case there would be an additional fee charged.

Precision prototype parts can be made in quantities starting with a single unit and up to hundreds or even thousands. Special prototyping tooling may also be available for certain diecast products. These prototyping services can be a pre-cursor to manufacturing all parts in China or in the country of your choice. No quantity is too small.

Our technicians and engineers will oversee the entire prototyping process from beginning to end. Our CAD designers and draftsmen can provide detailed, complete, accurate designs for approval, or, if you already have 2D or 3D drawings we can review and translate instructions into Chinese so that the foundry will avoid making mistakes. Tooling molds are made using 3D drawings and CNC machining.

We can also combine the prototyping with other processes such as CNC machining. Any features can be machined into your base castings with the top quality equipment our companies use. Their skilled operators employ all forms of machining to meet your requirements: multi-point drilling and tapping, milling, boring, lathe work, and grinding. We can even offer painting, finishing, plating, powder coating and assembly.
